The Direkt Link is offered in a range of models that can be tailored to the needs of each customer using add-on features and individual adaptations. In this way the Direkt link range is extremly flexible and versatile whilst retaining easy-to-use handling characteristics.

Video from a camera or video mixer is connected to the Direkt Link. Compressed video streams are broadcasted to one or more receivers. The configuration can be adjusted using the display and keypad on the encoder from a local web-interface or via ISS. The Direkt Link can also record a broadcast to be used for on-demand-video or file based productions.

Contribution can involve, for example, a single transmission from the inauguration of a new concert hall, regular broadcasts from the city council or player interviews from an arena.

With the Direkt Link, it is easy to move around and broadcast from various locations using an internet connection. With a Direkt Receiver in the control room, a TV channel can receive the live broadcast and use it in its production. ISS, Intinor’s System for Statistics and supervision helps, with testing, verification and troubleshooting of network connections.

Direkt Receiver

Direkt Receiver is an IRD wich receives MPEG-TS via Internet an other IP networks and decodes them to video and audio. Except decoding video and audio, Direkt receiver in a IP link system gives foremost the following advantages.

Direkt receiver is easy to configure from the keypad and the web interface. It is robustly constructed with few moving parts. IP streams, which enters a Direkt receiver, can be supervised and troubleshooted via ISS - Intinors system for statistics and Supervision.


The following functions are present on Direkt Link:

ISS Remote Management System

ISS - Intinor Stream Statistics is our system for remote control, statistics collection and supervision of video links. ISS identifies problems and makes monitoring simple.

All incidents are stored in a database. Through a web interface, both Intinor support and the customer can retrieve statistics for several measuring points connected to the video links. Users logs into the ISS management system and gets access to detailed graphs for all the measuring points. This feature is specifically useful if running a complex system using several IP links.

ISS is a powerful tool for troubleshooting video links. In a few seconds, the problem can be found and identified to render the right correctional response.

ISS management can be configured to report alarms via email or text messages. Alarms can be triggered by loss of connectivity, loss of input signal, abnormal temperatures or hardware malfunctions. The alarms can be sent to Intinor and/or to the customer.
